I attended a ballroom competition yesterday in support of my in-law this weekend who competed in their first ever dance competition. I didn’t really know what to expect since I’ve only seen the televised one and movies like “Shall We Dance”. I found that taking pictures at events like these is just like sports photography. You definitely need a fast lens and a fast camera.

Can you believe it? I’m an uncle! My sister gave birth to 6lb 11oz, little Matthew this past Tuesday night, June 19th. The labour was surprisingly short (relative to other mothers who I’ve heard have had 24-36 hours of labour) at 3 hours. My dad is really excited and can’t wait for his next grand child!
