Downtown Girl

Posted on July 19th, 2008

Cuba’s life growing up in the heart of downtown Toronto is lovingly cared for by her amazing parents Michael and Wendy.  She had a great time during our photo session with her parents as they crawled around the house and laughed till she pooped in her diapers!

Standing on two feet

Posted on July 1st, 2008

Matthew is my nephew and he reminds me of myself when I was a baby.  Not that I remember what I was like, but just seeing him is like looking at a photo of myself.  =)

We had a relaxing family time with my parents at the park and my sister let Matthew run around for the first time after getting his walking legs.  The park was an amazing thing for him since my sister’s family lives downtown, so seeing all that grass and even a water fountain was a great experience for him.  I still laugh every time I look at these photos as he got drenched running through the fountain fully clothed!

Seeing Doubles

Posted on May 19th, 2008

I had the opportunity to shoot a baby session with Kayah and Zoe. They were both in town with their parents visiting from New York and took advantage of the MOXI Gift Certificate that a previous MOXI client (and aunt to Kayah and Zoe) had purchased for them. They are my first set of twins and first mixed babies! A great day for firsts!

Baby Blues

Jackson wasn’t feeling so well the first time I met him and his parents. His parents tried every funny face and silly sound to get Jackson to smile, but his cold was getting the best of him. So we tried again yesterday after he had a couple of weeks to recover and this time he was ready! He showed off his big blue eyes and enjoyed a morning rolling around and playing a little with the family dog, Kona.

Joshua

Posted on April 17th, 2008

Joshua was mesmerized the whole time during his baby session with the click of the camera and flash. He couldn’t stop staring at it. We finally managed to distract him a couple of times to capture some interactive moments with mom and dad. The best thing about Joshua was that he would hysterically laugh on demand when I peered out from behind my camera. Gotta love these sessions!
